Aging by Patient

Aging by Patient

This is similar to the Unresolved Claims Report for outstanding Patient balances, Insurance, and/or Patient Credits, and Escrow. Patient Escrow is highlighted in yellow.

Criteria

  1. Aging By: Patient Only, Patient and Insurance, or Insurance Only
  2. Aging By Date: Bill Date, Post Date, Date of Service, or Responsibility Date
  3. Aging From/Aging To
  4. DOS From/DOS To
  5. Balance >=/Balance <=: Looks at the individual responsible party (Specific Insurance or Patient)
  6. Total Balance >=/Total Balance <=: Looks at the Total Balance based on the "Aging By" filter used.
    1. Patient Only = Patient Balance
    2. Insurance Only = Insurance Balance
    3. Patient & Insurance = Patient + Insurance Balance
  7. Dunning Count >=/Dunning Count <=
  8. Tags
  9. Resolved Tags: Exclude (Default), Include, or Only
  10. Self Pay: Include or Exclude
  11. Send to Patient Worklist/Send to Charge Worklist: Can send the report results to one of these Worklists
  12. Include After Insurance: Select the checkbox to Include Patient Balances after Insurance has paid. Selected by Default.
  13. Include Encounters: If selected, the Encounters that make up the balances will be included on the report. The data shown will include: Encounter, DOS, Last Payment, Aging (Days), Charges, Ins Payments, Write Offs, Patient Payments, Adjustments, & Balance.
  14. Include Notes: If selected, Patient and Encounter Notes (for Encounters with balances) will be included.
  15. Include $0 BalancesIf selected, the Report will include all Encounters, with and without a balance.
  16. Totals Only
  17. Sort By: Guarantor Name, Guarantor ID, Patient Name, or Patient ID
